A few years ago, I received this message from my ancestors when my birthday was approaching:

ancestors love and support your journey.
For with each year, you are building upon another,

Each birthday is a special one like the day you
were born.
All that has created you gathers in celebration to
remind you of who you are.
You were created with great love, and that love is
within you.
You were made to love, and share that love with
others.
Each year is an offering to expand, and grow deeper
into love. Take your gifts and celebrate all that you are by giving back
generously and openly.
Each year on your birthday is a point of remembrance that the world has gathered to celebrate your existence."
